Cuisses that correspond to the hizayoroi in samurai armour. Made from a steel sheet formed into two cylindrical shapes, they completely cover the body from the abdomen down to the knees.
Greases that correspond to the suneate in samurai armour. They completely cover the lower leg, from the knees down to the toes. Hinges are fitted at the knee, ankle, and other joints to aid movement.
